Policy Statement

Gerry Sharvin Training Consultancy [Referred to as The Consultancy] acknowledges its responsibilities under the Safety, Health and Welfare at Work Act, 2005, and the Safety Health & Welfare at Work (General Application) Regulations 2007.

The Consultancy is committed to providing, so far as is reasonably practicable, a safe and healthy work environment for all its co-presenters, learners and to meeting its duties to clients, members of the public authorised visitors,  who may be affected by its training provision.

In accordance with Section 19 of the Act, this safety statement identifies the significant hazards and associated risks of the activities of The Consultancy.  It details arrangements, people responsible and relevant resources to secure the safety, health and welfare at work of persons contracted by The Consultancy.  The Consultancy will liaise with relevant facilitators / learners on safety, health and welfare at work matters, including this document, in accordance with Part 4 Sections 25 and 26 of the Act.

The Consultancy will at all times comply with the health and safety arrangements of the client while on the clients premises.

The Consultancy will regularly review this safety statement in the light of changes and developments within The Consultancy or changes in legislation.
